Yvonne Pearl Henderson (nee Fairhead) was born on May 11, 1943, in Calgary, Alberta, and peacefully passed away on July 19, 2023. She was a devoted wife to Dale for 59 years and a loving mother to her children, Sandra (Shawn Mullin) and Kevin (Susan Davis). Yvonne cherished her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother, leaving behind cherished memories with her grandchildren Alysha, Matthew, Justine, Brett, and great-grandchildren Grayson, Payton, and Auston.
Yvonne's life was marked by compassion and care, having dedicated her career to nursing before embarking on a second career with the Royal Bank. Her kindness and dedication made a lasting impact on all those she encountered.
In the hearts of her family and friends, Yvonne's memory will forever be cherished. A private Celebration of Life will be arranged at a later date to honour and remember the beautiful life she lived. We would like to thank Hospice Simcoe, a wonderful place that made Mom's last few days very peaceful and provided incredible support for the rest of the family.

There is so little one can say to bring peace to your heart now. Turn now to the book of memories and may your happy memories be a source of comfort. Think of your loss as we are all standing on a long ladder, those of us that are older are near the top. Your loving caring thoughtful Yvonne was near the top and has now stepped off and floated up into the sky and is one of the bright, shimmering star that looks like it could be brand new…you will find it and say hi mom and granny.
