Passed away suddenly on August 11, 2023, at the age of 71.  Wayne's legacy of love lives on through his family: his wife Diane of 47 years, his sons Shawn and Trevor, and his cherished grandchildren Emily Vesico (Vinny), Riley, Logan, and Lucas; and great-grandchildren Melina and baby boy.  He was also a loving brother of Reg (Leslie), Donna (Sid, both brother-in-law and long-time friend), and Sandy (Wayne).  He also leaves behind a multitude of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who held a special place in his heart.

A man of many passions, Wayne found joy in the great outdoors.  From fishing to riding ATVs and canoeing in his younger days, to finding solace in the beauty of nature as he grew older, his connection with the world around him was undeniable.  Wayne's warm and giving spirit endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.  He had an innate ability to bring happiness to others and his greatest joy came from making those around him smile.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 9th, 2023 at the Port McNicholl Community Centre, 560 7th Ave, Tay Twp., from 1-5 p.m.
