Funeral Details: Private Family Interment
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Violet (Robertson) Ashmore on May 18th at age 89 with her daughters by her side. Loving mother of Sheena (Tom) & Marion (Joe). Survived by grandchildren Christine (Darren), Andrew (Michelle), David (Tami), Megan (Greg) and Ian and great-grandchildren, Grace, Hana, Joshua, Eden, Moriah, Ethyn, Emma, Freddy & Charlotte. Violet will be missed by many nieces & nephews in Scotland & Ontario. She will be missed by her friends and staff of the IOOF Retirement Community in Barrie where she lived for the last 6 years. Violet was a kind and generous person and will be missed by many.
Cremation has taken place. A private interment with family will be held later this month.
Many thanks to Dr. Kerstin Mossman and her wonderful team for their care of our mom and our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff and volunteers at Hospice Simcoe for their wonderful care and compassion in her last weeks before she passed.
