It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vincent Edward English on March 26, 2025, at the age of 61. Vincent was born on January 18, 1964, in Barrie, Ontario, and throughout his life, he touched many with his kindness, respect, and warm heart.
Vincent loved playing darts and fishing, and his passion for competition led him to become a provincial horseshoe champion—a title he held with pride. He was also a valued member of the Everett Legion #508, where he formed lasting friendships and contributed to the community.
Vincent's generosity and caring nature made him a beloved friend and family member. He had a way of making those around him feel special, and his memory will be cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Vincent will be deeply missed by his father Edward (Beverly) English, and by his mother Estelle (the late Keith) English.
Vincent leaves behind the love of his life, Denise Smith, his beloved son, Nick (Felicia) Messner, as well as his 4 grandchildren, Jaxon, Avyana, Rinnoa, Scarlett. He is predeceased by his loving brother, Vernon English.
A Celebration of his Life will take place on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Barrie Legion (410 St. Vincent St., Barrie, ON).
Vincent’s legacy of kindness, love, and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
