Posted on: Monday, May 18, 2020Troy, it seems like yesterday that we were walking to the school bus together and then later watch you & Gina bring two beautiful girls into the world, become one of the best master electricians I know, also the countless hours you spent at Uncle Dougie’s Arctic Cat Shop working on sleds. You also gave back to your community by becoming a proud member of the IFRS Stn 3. You managed to have more toys then the average person lol…Troy, I will always miss you and remember you as a person that was always a phone call away…RIP Brother. Gina, Monica & Marena, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Posted on: Tuesday, May 26, 2020A great man who was never shy to lend a hand, early in my apprenticeship I found myself working for Troy at Toronto Western Hospital. He was nice enough to offer a lift to the city knowing what it would cost a early term apprentice to drive down to the city and pay for gas, and parking day in and out. He didn’t expect much in return for his kindness either. Maybe a couple bucks for gas, a coffee here and there or just have a chat, talk about life or work, his family. He was a very proud dad.
Im saddened by the fact I’ll never get to see my friend again. Have him try to persuade me into going to get him California sandwiches “I’ll buy you one too” he’d say, was pretty much all it took. I’m upset I never got the chance to tell him how thankful I was when he helped get me transferred to the airport to work for him again. I worked there for many years, a job that helped me buy my first house, I have many fond memories working there and I owe that to him. Rest easy old friend.
