Pratt, Therese (Terry) Pratt (nee Demers)

August 26, 2016 – Barrie, Ontario
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terry on Friday, August 26, 2016 at the age of 87. She is survived by her cherished children; Miles (Donna) Pratt and Brenda (Jim) Cote, two well-loved grandsons, Luke (Hollie Gardiner) Pratt and Christian (Rachael Sparling) Pratt, her granddaughter Jeysita Pratt, several nieces and nephews and her sister-in-law Irene Demers. She was predeceased by her much-respected mother Berthe Demers who set high standards for her children, her brothers Marcel Demers and Jerry Demers and her sisters Irene “Rae” (Howard) Ramage and Isabel (Phil) Weller. A child of the great depression, Terry was whiz at stretching a dollar. She was an excellent cook and could sew or make almost anything she put her mind to. She loved playing Bridge and Scrabble, reading, going to the movies, taking in the theatre and every once in a while, a good party.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Painters Hall in Barrie, Ontario at 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 15th,2016. Messages of condolence can be left at www.peacefultransition.ca
