It is with great sadness that the family of Terrence “Terry” Glen Murphy advise that he passed away peacefully at Simcoe Hospice, on Saturday, December 29, 2018 with family by his side. He was 83. Terry was born in Keewatin, Kenora District. Terry met the love of his life Aila they married on May 19 1955, 62 years.
Terry has been retired from his position at the Ministry of the Attorney General for over 20 years. He was enjoying his retirement by; travelling with his wife Aila, reading and cherishing the moments he spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Beloved husband of the late Aila Murphy. Terry is survived by his loving daughter Susan Bois and son-in-law Denis, son Brian, cherished granddaughter Christie Franklin and husband Scott, Kerri Stewart and husband Dan, grandson Michael Stewart and wife Becky, granddaughter Ashley Murphy, and great grandchildren; Travis, Brooke, Charlotte, Myles and Anikka.
A time of gathering will be held at a later date in Thunder Bay, On. A sincere thank you to Dr. Verheaghe, Dr. Muscat and Hospice Simcoe.
