Funeral Details: A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ron Michael Doyle, on Saturday, August 21, 2021, in Barrie Ontario, in his 73rd year.  After a very brief but incredibly courageous battle with a rare and aggressive form of cancer, Ron started the next chapter of his existence in heaven.  A man of great faith, he was gentle, kind, loving and humble.  He thought of others before himself which he demonstrated in the very short time from diagnosis to his departing this life.  There was to be no self pity, anger or bitterness from Ron.  On the contrary, he accepted his circumstances as God’s will and used his remaining time to help others try and find the kind of peace, happiness and courage he found in his faith.  He will be missed but certainly not forgotten.  He was an inspiration to his many friends and family, and is still making a difference in the lives of many.

Carrying on Ron’s incredible spirit are his wife L.A., his son Brent (Stephanie), his daughter Tara (Matt), and step daughters Sarah and Shannan, along with his grandchildren; Noah, Nash, Hailey, Nate and Jacob, as well as many family members and friends.

Due to the covid pandemic, a private family memorial to celebrate Ron’s life will be held.  If so desired, donations may be made in Ron’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.  Online memories and condolences may be made at www.peacefultransition.ca

I will always treasure the many memories of family holidays, dinners, the ski trips to Tremblant and all the many life events we shared together as families, some of my most favorite childhood memories. Rest Easy Uncle Ronnie, you were a man who can be proud of the life you lead and lived, always proud and giving of love and loyalty to family and friends , and who will always be remembered with love. You left us tp early but with memories to be cherished forever. ❤ Rest in Peace, give Grampa a hug for me. Love you xoxo

We were sadden to hear about Ron’s sudden passing. We have many fond memories from our formative years when life was simple, and fun was the order of the day.

Alouette games, touch football games (we thought we were good, we weren’t), ball hockey, tipit games (Ron was King of the cold call) at taverns that are too many to name, but we hit them all. I remember many nights held up in the shack at Chubby’s lot in Lakehurst, playing endless games of liar’s dice, laughing, joking, and living life with little worry.

Our condolences to the entire family and extended members, it was a hell’va ride.

Dearest L.A., my sincerest condolences to you and your family. While you celebrate Ron’s life may it also be comforting to know that God is close to the broken hearted.

When the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever (1 Corinthians 15:50-57). Thank God! He gives us victory over death and our trespasses through our Lord Jesus Christ.
