The family of Richard Gordon Elia is saddened to announce his sudden passing in Barrie,ON, on February 6th, 2024, at the age of 61 years old.
Richard was born November 13th,1962 in Toronto,Ontario to a family of 5 brothers, and 2 sisters.He is predeceased by his parents Anthony and Helen(Conners), and brothers Bill and Victor.
He will be forever remembered by his 5 siblings he leaves behind Tony( late Sandy), Irene, Paul, Ralph, and Tammy(Tim).Along with many nieces ,nephews , and cousins.
Richard will be sadly missed by his 8 children Nathan(Danielle), Stefan(Christine)Shaunice(Andrew), Mikayla, Mateo, Dillon, Devon, and Desmon.He also had 5 beautiful grandchildren.
Many will fondly remember Richard for his sense of humor, being young at heart,his skills in the kitchen,and being a proud father who always loved to talk about his children.
He will be dearly missed by many family and friends.We hope that all those grieving with his tragic loss can find understanding, forgiveness, and peace.
We hold you forever in our hearts and memories Dad.May you rest and finally be at peace.
A service and celebration of life will be held at a later date.

I am sorry he has passed, much too young. He is resting in God’s hands now. No more troubles and at peace. I will miss running into him when I am waiting for a bus at the Terminal.
I am sorry to all of you for the loss of your brother/father /grampa/uncle.
