Funeral Details:

Rebeccah McKenzie Cloutier

 "Becky the Brave"

 March 7, 2005 - September 13, 2014

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a heavenly spirit in the comfort of her own home.

Rebeccah, "Becky" gained her angel wings at 8:23pm on Saturday September 13, 2014.  Becky was surrounded by family at her bedside.

Becky was a hero to her family and friends; she braved a courageous battle against brain cancer with a smile, grace and a selfless nature.  Rebeccah brought peace and understanding to those around her during her difficult struggle.

Becky is survived by her loving parents Roger & Tara Cloutier, her spirited sister, Madelynne, maternal grandparents Doug & Debbie Ayers of Orillia, and paternal grandparents, Ruth Cloutier & Benoit Pouliet of Weedon Quebec, preceded by her paternal grandfather, Yvan Cloutier.

Rebeccah enjoyed many things in life but nothing more than spending time with her family, and sharing her heart with the world- primarily her own supportive community of Victoria Harbour.

Rebeccah's service will be open to the public on Tuesday September 23, 2014 at Mapleview Community Church, located at 300 Mapleview Drive W, Barrie Ontario.

There will be a viewing commencing at 11:00am followed by a service at 1:00pm and a balloon release.

A small celebration of life will take place following the service.

Rebeccahs family wishes to request notes or letters be written for Madelynne about what her sister meant and about her strength so that she may have those warm reminding words to help her through this difficult time. There will be opportunity to write words of wisdom and inspiration at the reception.

Please forward flowers or donations to Peaceful Transition at 431 Bayview Drive #16 Barrie, On.

My deepest and most sincere condolences in the loss of such an incredible Angel … “Becky”.

Tears roll from my eyes but somehow my heart feels lifted….lifted to the heavens knowing that Rebeccha is free from pain and with her Angel’s wings.

You are amazing parents and both Becky & Madelynne are truest of blessings.

Thank you both for letting us share in your journey and for letting the world hold your hand while walking with you all.

Rebeccha will live forever in all of you, all of us and in all the beautiful memories. I will FOREVER think of her each time I look up at the moon…

With much love, prayers & respect…

My heartful condolences go out to your family for the loss of Rebeccah.  I didn’t know her but read about Rebeccah’s passing in the newspaper and I was very touched and moved by her battle against cancer.  I lost my husband 2 years ago to cancer at age 57 and am still grieving.   I can’t imagine the loss of a child and the pain that it brings.   Please remember the good times and treasure the memories of a truly remarkable little girl that seemed to be a genuine angel.

Hello, i am so sorry for your loss. Me and my mom just read about Rebeccah in the Barrie advance and we wanted to send our condolences. I will pray for you and your family to have strength in this time of need, and to know that your beautiful daughter is in a wonderful place where she won’t have to battle cancer anymore. There’s a song on my YouTube channel, (Ayrika Nicole Rose) Called “Amanda’s Song”, we recently lost a good friend due to a collision with a 18 wheeler in January and wrote a song for her. I hope you listen to it and I really hope it helps you find peace. God Bless.

    Dear Roger,Tara and Little Maddy.
I am so sorry for the passing of Becky.

I know that you have all stayed strong through the long journey together and cannot even imagine what it was like to have to go through this with a child.

I know it is not much comfort when people say she is in a better place but know she is no longer suffering.

I lost my brother 2 years ago to cancer at the age of 44 but could not even imagine this and how you are all feeling.

Please know that all of my family’s thoughts and prayers are with you all.

    xoxo
