ELLIOTT, Byron “Peter”
Passed away peacefully, with family at his side, on Tuesday, October 24th, 2017 at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Lyn VanValkenburg. Loving father of Jaycee (Scott) and Shannon (Stephen). Step-father of Lori, Lisa (Scott), Lesley (Mike) and Leanne (Keith). Cherished grandfather of Marlie and Joseph. Step-grandfather of Jeffrey, Rebecca, Alexandra, Katrina (Lucas), Nicole, Mitchell, Myah and Kalen. Dear brother of Erron and Brian.
In keeping with Peter’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private graveside interment will take place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations can be made to Hospice Simcoe. Messages of condolence can be left at www.peacefultransition.ca

My dad taught me to always surround yourself with great people, don’t burn bridges and never lose touch with anyone due to distance and life.
