Patrick Francis Sullivan
Pat left us early in the morning on January 12th, 2024, after a short and intense illness.
He is survived by his wife Laura, daughter Kristin (Kyle) and granddaughter Payton. Pat leaves behind his siblings Patricia, Mary, Dianne, Dorothy, Margaret, John and their spouses and his nieces and nephew. Predeceased by his parents Patrick Sr. and Helena Sullivan. Pat will also be greatly missed by the Barnes family and all his friends.
Pat spent many years in the large format graphics business. His skill, dedication and reliability were well known and highly regarded. He gave each situation his absolute best and never gave up.
More recently, Pat worked in Parks Services - Horticulture at the City of Richmond Hill. He really found his true place there and was so very proud to be part of that team.
Pat loved space travel and flight, car races and his beloved dog Chant. He was a big fan of puns and corny jokes, fast food, cop shows and sports. He was an avid Leafs, Bills and Jays fan and knew all the rules for every sport.
Pat was brave and strong until the very end. He will be so very missed by all who loved him, and things will definitely never be the same without him. Sincere thanks to Fizul, Dr. Patterson, Jacqui and all the SRT nurses.
A celebration of Pat’s life will be announced at a later date. Please consider a donation to a cause that you support in Pat’s memory. Arrangements entrusted to Peaceful Transition York (2-15236 Yonge Street, Aurora, Ontario) and condolences may be forwarded through www.peacefultransition.ca

Posted on: Tuesday, January 16, 2024I knew Pat for only a few years but he made quite an impression. Pat, Laura and I shared a common love, animals of any description. We also loved to watch baking shows and all the ‘scrumptious’ desserts they made. We had many laughs especially that pesky ‘Elf on a Shelf’. Pat was courageous to the end and I shall miss him. Eternal peace to your spirit.

Posted on: Tuesday, January 16, 2024Pat will be so missed by all who knew him. Always kind and thoughtful, he was the most quiet person at the dinner table but, if you paid attention, you’d catch his great little jokes and of course, his corny puns! He was brave and strong and can leave the pain behind now. We love you Pat!

Posted on: Tuesday, January 16, 2024It has been a privilege working with you and getting to know you, my friend. I’ll never forget our life chats and your corky jokes. I’ll also never forget jamming out to Nickelback with you at the green, we were a hit. You were an extraordinary human, one I’m grateful to have met in this lifetime. Rest in Peace Patty

Posted on: Wednesday, January 17, 2024Paddy, you will be missed tremendously. My memories of you go back to when I was seven years old and our mother came home from the hospital with the cutest little baby boy. She dressed you up like a miniature little man when you were a toddler, complete with navy jacket, bow tie and a fedora. You had a generous spirit that lasted throughout your lifetime. Your love for our mother shone through when you brought home little gifts every day after school…a nail you found on the street that she might need, or a penny, or even a dandelion from someone’s lawn. Sweet memories. Memories of all of the laughs you gave us over the years will endure. Sweetest still is the memory of seeing you at Christmas and being able to give you a final hug before you left us. Rest in peace. Love, Mary.

In Pat, Laura found a gentle and authentic man. Pat and Laura suited each other to a tea and shared the love of the important things in life. Posted on: Monday, January 22, 2024My brother Paddy was such a sweet boy growing up following his gaggle of older sisters to the schoolyard. He was always a little boy who wanted to be loved and be part of the crowd and join in. He had a gentle, sweet nature that grew with him into adulthood. And his personality also grew with his corny jokes and stories of his beloved dogs. He was a good storyteller, I will miss hearing them.
My condolences to Laura and thank you for taking good care of him. My condolences to Kristin Marie, she and her dad were the best buddies.
We will all miss him terribly. With love, Pat XO
