Patricia Rose Howell
Our mother Pat passed away peacefully in Barrie, Ontario on August 5, 2023 at the age of 95. Pat was predeceased by her husband Cliff, brother Rob and sister Betty. Mom is survived by her three children Eric (Mary Jane), Wayne, Patricia (Grant), five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed, always an even keel, positive and gentle in her everyday life.
Aside from being an avid reader, Mom’s favourite pastime was boating on the beautiful Trent Severn Waterway with Dad. We thank the staff at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie for their compassionate care.
In keeping Pat’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A private family gathering at the gravesite will be held. Cremation has taken place.

Posted on: Monday, August 14, 2023I’m saddened to learn of Pat’s passing. She was a “table-mate” at the Barrie Manor while we were both in the Bayshore Rehabilitation program earlier this year. She was always cheerful, accepting of the realities of a change of lifestyle, positive about having to adjust to moving into long term care and very proud and appreciative of her family. My sincere condolences to her family!
