Neville John Fava was born on January 30, 1951 in Sliema, Malta. He died on May 28, 2020 in Barrie, Ontario due to pancreatic cancer. He was a long-time employee for the City of Brampton and once retired he also worked part-time at HotSpot Auto Parts – both places were like second homes to him. He will be missed tremendously by his children: Colleen, Karen (deceased), Kenny (deceased), Michael and Ashley and grandchildren, Poplar and Arianna, by his two loving brothers Walter and Joseph and two wonderful sisters-in-laws, Donna and Barbara. He also leaves behind nephew, Walter Jr. and nieces, Sherry and Erin and many other family members. Neville was a talented guitarist and poet. Here’s one of his poems:
Don’t look for names in a book for the ones that died before you,
For tomorrow your name may be there.
Be happy with life and embrace it,
Thank all that came before you…
…and remember them in silence.

Posted on: Saturday, June 20, 2020Mason and Madison (Ann &Dave’s grand kids) Neville’s neighbors were always so delighted to see Mr. Neville. He would often bring them little chocolate bars and treats. He was a friendly, soft spoken man that always had a smile whenever he spoke of his family. Thinking of you all at this time. He will be greatly missed.

Posted on: Tuesday, June 30, 2020To Colleen, and family.
I had the pleasure to meet your wonderful father, and from time to time work with him.
A Man that always valued life, love, and silent.
It was today just visiting my Transit friends I found out.
May God rest him in peace.
Mario and Mary Abela.
