HAGAR, Mildred Anna (nee Young)
Passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Bob Rumball Home for the Deaf in Barrie in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late James Hagar. Loving mother of Diane and her late husband Harold Whitham, Jeanne (John) Hardy and James (Sue) Hagar. Cherished grandmother of Cheryl (Joe), Ross (Jaclyn), Jamie, Beth and the late Quentin and Stephanie. Great grandmother of 11. Mildred was an avid knitter and was soloist at Copetown United Church for many years. She taught junior choir in Copetown and also belonged to the seniors choir at Bracebridge United Church. She will be remembered fondly for her wonderful love of family and her great sense of humor and love of life.
In keeping with Mildred’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life to be held at a later date. Inurnment to take place at Grimsby Anglican Cemetery.
