Funeral Details: Private Family Farewell

MICHELE MARIE SOURAY

It is with great sadness that the family of Michele Marie Souray announce her sudden and unexpected passing on

January 9, 2024, at the age of 58 years.  Michele, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister.

May you rest in peace and love.  You’re forever in our hearts

Survived by her mother Ann & stepfather Jim Besse, twin daughters Samantha Chamaillard and Ashley Chamaillard (Tanner), Grandson Hunter Curtis and her brother Richard Todd Souray. She was predeceased by her father Richard Paul Souray.

Michele will be fondly remembered by her Edmonton siblings Shannon and Sheldon and her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A few of the things that Michele most enjoyed in life was spending time with her grandson Hunter, reading and writing poetry and affirmations, riding her motorcycle and being with her dogs Hershey and Coco.

For those who wish to make a donation in Michele's memory, a charity of choice would be appreciated, but please consider donating to the SPCA ontariospca.ca due to her love of animals. Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family interment at the Aurora Cemetery in the spring.

Arrangements entrusted to Peaceful Transition York (2-15236 Yonge Street, Aurora) and condolences may be forwarded through www.peacefultransition.ca

Cousins are often our first friends. Michele was my oldest cousin and I remember as a kid thinking she was so cool. I wanted to be just like her. When I received her Cougar boots as a hand me down, I was so excited. I have so many memories of her throughout the decades. But what stands out the most was her beautiful smile and her infectious laugh. My condolences to all her family and friends. Michele will be missed. 💜
