Mary Susan Watson

October 30, 1957 - December 8, 2020

Funeral Details: A Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.

Watson, Mary Susan “Sue”

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our Sue, a.k.a. The Goddess, The Nightmare on Elm Street or just Shoe. Tragically it was her body that was discovered by River Road and Beck Street on December 8th, 2020, but not her Spirit!  Her Spirit will remain with all who knew her.  Pre deceased by her parents Don “Buntz” and “Lady Di” Watson.  Loving sister of Laura Watson and Jay Watson.  Special aunt of Tyler Watson and Matthew Glover. Sue will be remembered by her best bud Roger and her amazingly large and diverse family and group of friends that are a testament to her fun loving and adventurous personality.  She was always up to the challenge and ready for a good laugh. It was Sue’s nature to help anyone when it was needed.  We thank the folks of Wasaga Beach for their kindness and the flowers that were left at the scene.  Your kindness is very much appreciated and know that there was not any sort of foul play with her passing.  We wish you all a safe and happy holiday and join you in wishing for a much better year in 2021.  May Sue’s Spirit be with us always, Cheers.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to Peaceful Transition Simcoe and condolences may be forwarded through www.peacefultransition.ca

I was shocked & saddened by Susan’s passing! Such fond memories with Susan at St. Monica’s, St. Joe’s & on Napier St. ; her family was a second one to me and vice versa. I spent countless hours at her house with Don (Bunt), Diane (Deed/DiDi), Laura (Lo) & Jay (Yaydee); singing, laughing, dancing & a few tears were shed over the years of course. Nicknames are a sign of affection; her Dad always called me “Carolini”. Fun times! I learned to swim in their beautiful backyard pool after nearly drowning Susan & Laura at Johnson’s Beach one summer afternoon lol? I just spoke with Susan a month ago; she was intelligent, pretty & we had such fantastic experiences in our youth! She will be greatly missed by Laura, Jay & many others! Never forgotten!
    Love,

Laura Jay and family. I am very very sorry for your loss. I was so saddened to hear of Susan’s passing. I am sorry to say that it has been quite a few years since I saw her last, but Mom often mentioned her whenever she would see her. I do have many fond memories of us “kids” all together on Napier St. The Watson’s , The Dunn’s and The McFaddens. All the old photos still remain in our picture albums and the memories will remain also. May she rest in peace.

My dearest friend Susie, I’m having a very hard time with the loss of you. You were and are my dearest friend. I will miss you terribly and our little laugh sessions. You always brought me up no matter how low I was feeling. I only hope I did the same for you when you needed it. This is one of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do and that’s saying good-bye to you. I love you. Until we meet again. X X X Debbie

I’m so saddened to hear of this great loss. My visits to Wasaga Beach will never be the same. I can’t remember a visit that didn’t include at least one visit with Sue. RIP my friend.
