I still cannot believe you are no longer with us. I miss you and my thoughts are with you every day. Knowing you are finally at peace has been my only solace. I will always treasure the memories I was blessed to share with you, but they are not yet over. I know I will, one day, meet up with you again. True friendship is everlasting. My heartfelt condolences to all your family. May they find comfort knowing you are now with your dad and brother and you are a special angel watching over them.

My sincere condolences to Linda’s loving family members. I am so saddened to read of her passing today in my newspaper. I still work on the base and think of her often as I remember the advice, guidance and wisdom she passed on to me. She was considered the “rock and expert” for all things claim-related as I struggled to learn my job. We became work buddies – and I could always count on her to be right!!! I find now – after 30 years in the job – that I owe my knowledge and confidence to her teachings and patience. I am not surprised that her maiden name was “LOVE” – how absolutely fitting for such a beautiful lady. She was always an extra stop for a quick visit when I used to deliver other paperwork to the Civilian Human Resources Office in that same building for the people at Construction Engineering Section. She was nothing short of amazing, giving, humble and kind. Your family was so lucky to have her – I was lucky to have shared her for a short time. I only wish I had kept in touch but judging by the list of 7 grandchildren – she was busy in retirement. The world will be a sadder place without her smile but the heavens will be brighter now every day.
