Lawrence “Larry” Richard Wallbridge

October 12, 1949 - August 12, 2023

Funeral Details: Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 - please contact a family member for details

It is with great sadness that we announce that Larry, surrounded by his family, has lost his battle against PMP cancer, passing peacefully at the RVRHC in his 74th year.

He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Wallbridge (Claude Lamothe), and Jodie Feder (Gord Pearce) who have been the light of his life through the good and bad times.  Larry inherited another daughter and a son 20 years ago, Darlene Otter (Ken), and Shane Gottschalk (Tracy) who have been a source of happiness in the good times and support through bad times.  Dear grandfather of Kyle and Tyler Matte; Kaleb and Kaleigh Feder; Kamden Pearce; Ryan, Cameron, and Colby Otter; and Alicia and Raelyn Gottschalk.  Larry thoroughly enjoyed his ten grandchildren and spent many enjoyable hours in outdoor activities with them and watching their various recreational sports.  Larry is survived by his brother Paul Wallbridge, and also by his wife Anne Wallbridge who was his best friend, soul mate.

Larry fought for 3 years despite numerous hospital procedures yet still managed to maintain his sense of humour while creating new friendships along the way.  Larry was an avid golfer; played darts, billiards, and shuffleboard; he attended dances, and enjoyed spending time with friends at Sandycove Acres, and being a part of the Spoke committee.  Toronto Blue Jays and Maple Leafs were a constant entertainment and frustration for Larry.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 30, 2023 - please contact a family member for details.  Online memories and condolences may be shared at www.peacefultransition.ca
