IRELAND, Larry G. of Barrie, Ontario passed away at Hospice Simcoe on Friday, July 9, 2021 as the result of brain cancer. Larry was the beloved husband of Gail and loving father of Johnathan. Dear brother of the late Ed, and is survived by his sister-in-law (Wendy). He will be sorely missed by his nephew Jeff and niece Sherry.
Larry loved a game of golf with friends and loved his job at Bear Creek Golf Club. They were just like family to him there – staff as well as members.
At Larry’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Larry’s life at a later date. He will be sorely missed by all.

Posted on: Tuesday, July 20, 2021Please accept my family’s sincere condolences and prayers. My dad, Dave O’Donnell, worked for many years with Larry and enjoyed their many rounds of golf. He considered Larry a wonderful friend. We lost my dad last August, and understand that sadness and void that is left when someone we love passes away. We are sorry for your loss.
