John White

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of John, who left us too soon on November 28, 2024. He was a devoted family man, a cherished friend, and a true lover of the game of darts.

John was the loving husband of Barb who was his faithful companion for nearly 32 years. John was the father of Jason (Christina), Trish, John Jr, and Rhiannon. He is survived by his siblings Marjorie (Howard), Eloyd, Theresa (Angus), Rhona, Jenny (Ray), Wanda (Loman), Judy (Danny), Anita (Allan), Lisa, and his brother-in-law Garry. John is predeceased by his sister Mercedes, and his parents Bride and Joe.

Whether at the local pub, league tournaments, or friendly matches at home, darts was more than a game to John - it was a way to connect with others, to celebrate victories, and to laugh through the near-misses.

While his passing was sudden, the impact he made on those who knew him will last a lifetime. In his honor, we invite friends and loved ones to join us for a celebration of his life on March 22, 2025 at The Royal Canadian Legion (21 East Street, Sutton), from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Let us share stories, raise a glass, and perhaps even throw a few darts in his memory—just as he would have wanted.
