SCHEEL, John
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 19th, 2016 at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Karen Battersby or Oro Medonte. Loving father of John Jr., and Matthew Scheel. Beloved son of Mariana Scheel and the late John Scheel Sr. Dear brother of Alex, Tina and the late Mary. John will be dearly missed by his nephew Chis and fondly remembered by many other nieces, nephews and extended family.
In keeping with John’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Barrie branch of the OSPCA.
