John Paul (Jack) Horsley

September 2, 1945 - May 3, 2022

Funeral Details: Mass will be held at St. John Vianney Church on Saturday, July 9th, 12 p.m. Reception in hall after service

With heavy hearts and respect we announce the peaceful passing of Jack at Mill Creek Care Centre. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol of 51 years, daughter Leanne (Peter), son Ryan (Alana), Carol Ann (Brampton), Jim (Angie); Bradford. Jack loved and adored his grandchildren Kinsley, Ella, Paxton and Teagan, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Pre-deceased by his parents John and Dorothy Horsley (Pape Avenue) Toronto.

Jack had quite the journey of life. Owner of several establishments before joining the insurance industry as an agent/broker. Always expres-sed the beautiful people and clients he met over the years, enjoyed boating and fishing (always the big one that got a way so he could go back next day). His ATV and motorcycle rides. Enjoyed seeing his brother and sister-in-laws from New York, Sydney and Cheticamp, Nova Scotia. Never had any outlaws! A quiet, laid back kind of guy, loved everyone he met. Thank you to family, neighbors and friends for their love and support.

To Mill Creek for the excellent care Jack received. Jack's words "They're very very kind, treat me like family." It truly was a home away from home, your care and kindness will be remembered for a long time.

A mass will be held at St. John Vianney Church, 13 Baldwin LN, Barrie. Saturday, July 9th, 12 p.m. Reception in hall after service.

In Jack's memory donations to Camp Dorset (Dialysis Children/Adults) or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

"Love you every second".

We just heard your sad news from a post on facebook. Carol, we are so very sorry for your loss. Jack was a wonderful person and you were so good together. We were heartened to read that you had children and grandchildren and hope that they will help and support you through a very hard time. I can still picture you both and hear your laughter at my mom’s house on many occasions. Please take care of yourself and know that we are thinking of you fondly.
    Terry and Donna
