Saft, Joanne Michelle: Loving Mother, Daughter, Oma, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and a dear Friend to many. She was known for her hilarious sarcasm and a loving person who cared for her family more than anything. Joanne grew her angel wings on Saturday August 12, 2023 at 9:01 p.m. at St. Michaels Hospital, Toronto. Joanne Saft of Newmarket at the age of 55 years. She will be sadly missed by her children Samantha (Desiree) (spouse Shawn) of London and Tyler of Newmarket. Special grandmother of Ryker. She will be terribly missed by her brothers Clint, David, sister Debbie, and her nephew Terry. Dear niece of Eleanor and cousin of Paul (wife Karen). Joanne will be fondly remembered by her many friends including Candy, Patricia, Malcolm and Lori. She touched the hearts of her daughters friends Sarah, Kyla, Aaron, Bre and Corrina. A private farewell has taken place. Cremation. A Celebration of Life for Joanne will be announced in the fall. Arrangements entrusted to Peaceful Transition York (2-15236 Yonge Street, Aurora) and condolences may be forwarded through www.peacefultransition.ca

You were my best friend. My rock. The person I could always count on to be there even if it was just on the phone. Your now gone forever. Your last month of life was spent in not one but 2 hospitals. You were in icu twice, your head was shaved, you had 4 strokes and alot more that you went through. I’m so so sorry this all happened.
Everyone that knew you thought you were hilarious. You could make anyone laugh with your sarcasm. You were the person they could trust with their secrets. Someone they could rely on for a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on.
I miss you so much there is just no words…you were taken so young.

In our teenage years we had alot of fun working together on the summer Hoildays having s few Beers .laughing acting crazy. The fo d memory I.will always keep was at the hus stop after the movie. A guy pulls is and you tell him.we can speak.English. I’m.not sure whst ki d of talk that was. But it was so hard for me to keep a straight dace.
