Joan Miller passed away peacefully on July 6, 2024 at AgeCare Long Term Care Residence in Aurora, at the age of 85.
Beloved wife of the late Rae Miller. Cherished mother of Neil Hetherington (Jennifer) of Port Perry and the late Paul Hetherington of Stouffville. Joan will be missed by her grandchildren Ryan and Kevin.
Joan spent her career working in customer service at Eaton’s retail store in Markham and then alongside her husband Rae as owners of Millers Fruit and Vegetable Stand. Joan was happiest when spending time with her friends and family and selling the fresh fruit, vegetables, and delicious pies to their customers at the stands located on Bayview Avenue in Aurora and Yonge Street in Barrie.
Joan will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A private service will be held for the family.
