Jeff had other interests as well as travel, that was his love for sports mainly Football (soccer) and cricket and he excelled in both. His lifelong passion was for Burnley Football club that he supported throughout his life. Jeff played his beloved game in Padiham, Burnley, the British Armed Forces, and Toronto. He organized and managed many aspects of the game throughout his life and was committed to the Barrie City Soccer Club. He served at the local, district plus Provincial level boards and committees where he was highly respected for his knowledge, understanding plus his commitment to the game. He touched many lives in the Business world as well as the soccer community. The respect he gathered will be a part of the lives he touched together with the memories and the people he influenced, for years to come.
The family would like to thank the wonderful people, Nurses, Staff and Doctors at Owen Hill Care Community, who have looked after him with Love, humor and kindness for the past two and a half years.
Due to the Covid-19 situation at the present time, cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations may be made in memory of Jeff to
Leisureworld Barrie Residential Activity Fund or Owen Hill Community Quality of Work Life.
