It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffery Andrew Irwin, at the young age of 54. He fought so hard the past 5 years, however his liver failure and complications from diabetes, got the best of him. He was resilient, brave, courageous, strong, and endured unimaginable pain and suffering.
He was cared for by the amazing staff at Huronia Hospice in Penetanguishene, where he passed peacefully on Thursday October 3rd @ 8:45 am.
Predeceased by his Mother Dru-Anne Irwin, and Father Ken Irwin.
Beloved Brother to Cheryl Ninno, (married to Dave Ninno) Darryl Irwin, (married to Vinie Irwin) and Father to Tyler Irwin. Uncle ‘Heffy’ to Lindsey, Arianna, Zachary, Aleczandar, Gabriel, Bradley, and Mikayela.
Jeff had the biggest heart, beautiful green eyes, great sense of humor and just loved to be around people. His generosity and kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew him. Family and friends will remember him for his infectious laughter and unwavering love for music, especially the Tragically Hip, and Keith Urban. He loved playing hockey and acquired the nickname ‘Swerve’ as he deked in and out of the corners. He loved The Toronto Maple Leafs, the Toronto Blue Jays, and was very compassionate for animals.
Jeff's passion for music was evident from an early age, and he dedicated his life to sharing that passion with others. A talented drummer, guitarist, singer, and songwriter. Jeff’s creativity and spirit brought joy to countless lives. He performed at numerous venues, captivating audiences with his soulful melodies, heartfelt voice and his charismatic personality.
His music was a reflection of his vibrant personality—authentic, raw, and full of emotion. Jeff was not only a musician but also a mentor and a friend. He had a unique ability to connect with people, offering support and encouragement to everyone he came across in his short journey on earth.
Jeff's music will continue to resonate in our hearts, and his spirit will forever live on through the notes he played and the lives he touched. Rest in peace, dear Brother. You will be forever remembered and cherished in our hearts. Until we meet again dear Brother.
Though your smile is gone forever, and your hand we can not touch,
We will hold onto those memories, Jeff, we loved you so much!!

Posted on: Friday, October 18, 2024Dear Cheryl, it is with an ache in my heart, that I extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family on this most tragic loss of Jeff.
Though I have not seen Jeff for many years, I hold many wonderful memories of him when he was growing up. Even when he was very young, he had a kindness in his heart that was beyond his years.
The bond between brother and sister is never broken, even in death. He will always be with you and watching out for you. You will feel his presence. I know Jeff would not mind me speaking on a lighter note, such as remembering him as like a little ‘Snoopy’ character when he was small. He always seemed to have a little cloud of dust at his feet, a smudge of dirt on his cheek and a little mischief in his eyes! Always adorable though!
RIP
Wonderful Young Man!
Your pain is over.
You are loved by many.
ROSE 💕
