Jeanette “Jan” Mary Dellio (nee Stenback)

September 8, 1931 - October 7, 2022

Funeral Details: Celebration of Life will be held at Tangle Creek Golf and Country Club, 4730 Sideroad #25, Thornton, Ontario on Sunday, October 30th@ 1:00pm.

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our beautiful matriarch Jan Dellio in her 92nd year.  Loving wife of Michael (2018) happily married for 67 years.  Proud loving mother to Donna (Paul), Steven (2018) (Karen) and Kristine (Tim), exceptional grandmother to Ryan (Kim), Amanda (1983) Nicole (Alex), David, Kiera, Elizabeth, and Kathleen.  Jan was born in Port Arthur, Ontario later moving to Toronto and employed at Bell Canada.  Jan and Mike were long time residences on Cotman Cres in Etobicoke prior to retiring to Barrie.  They enjoyed numerous travels abroad and spending many years wintering in N. Fort Myers, Florida.  Jan was a spectacular cook and loved nothing more than preparing lavish feasts for family and friends.  Mom was a long-time member of the Red Hatters ladies club in Barrie.

In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice will be greatly appreciated by the family.

    Our deepest condolences to the entire family. Although I never new her well, I remember your mom as a vivacious, very caring and generous woman.

    I just read of Jan’s passing. My heart goes out to her family and friends.
    I always admired Jan’s energy and joie de vie. I know how much my parents enjoyed her company and their traveling adventures.

      Thank you Rosemarie. She is reunited with her honey and the four travelers are back together on their next journey.
