Want you to all know how wonderful Heather was as a Hospice volunteer. She and I got to know each other well over many years and how brave she was to every Thursday morning, meet and greet and support families dealing with end of life issues, all the time, wondering when her treatment options would be used up. She was gracious and lovely and always had her lipstick on, putting her face in front of all the discomfort she undoubtedly felt. Her wit and smile were contagious. I loved bantering with her. I will miss her and will hope to live with more integrity because of Heather’s example. She loved and was so proud of her children. Kathi Kelly former Family Support Coordinator at Hospice Dimcoe

I am so very sorry to hear of Heather’s passing.  To John, Stacy, Julie, John-Michael and Jacqueline, may God’s presence console you in your grief, but sometimes words fail.  You are such a wonderful family, and John, your kids have all grown up, have partners, and children.  I was your next door neighbour until 1993, with Ed and Margaret Annie playing with your children.  Heather always had the loveliest smile.  God bless.

I wanted to tell you how sorry I am to hear of the passing of Heather Irving.  I worked with John for many years and I know she brought love and sunshine into his life and the life of their family. I wish the family happy memories and quiet smiles from Heather who I know is watching from above.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you, John and your family from my family.
