Gerry Patricia Whittaker, at 78 years of age, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2022, following several years of declining health.
Born Geraldine Patricia Thompson on March 17, 1943 in Montreal, Quebec, Patricia married in Montreal on October 8, 1966 to Wayne Whittaker, who survives her. In 1983 Patricia graduated with distinction from University of Michigan, Dearborn Campus, with a B.Sc. in Business Administration. Her subsequent career spanned 3 countries where her skills and attention to detail made her indispensable.
Among those grieving her loss are her daughter Melissa, son-in-law Kirk Miller, and their daughter’s Evelyn and Madelaine, all of Sammamish, WA. She is also survived by her brother Henry Thompson and his wife Donna, their three sons, and their families.
There are no immediate plans for visitation or funeral, but a Celebration of Life will take place when inclement weather and the pandemic cease to be a deterrent. In lieu of flowers a donation in her memory to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Auxiliary will be appreciated. Online memories and condolences may be made at www.peacefultransition.ca

Posted on: Monday, January 17, 2022I will always remember Pat as having much love for her family and extended family. She was very proud, rightfully so, of her daughter Melissa, son-in-law Kirk and their two daughters Evelyn and Madeleine. As a teenager I fondly remember Pat as being a lot of fun at our many family get-togethers. She will be missed.
