Frederick Richard Branton
Passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital on June 13, 2018, at the age of 89. Born in Yorkshire, England. Beloved friend and spouse of Georgina Bowser. Dear brother of Philip and Freda (predeceased). Fred had a wonderful life, working in graphic arts and printing, before spending many winters in Florida after his retirement. He enjoyed flying small planes, watching soccer, gardening, and entertaining as a DJ. Proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion, and the Sandycove Veterans’ Social Club. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at St George’s Anglican Church, Barrie, on Friday July 13th, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice Simcoe, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated.
