Eunice Bestvater (nee Oliver)

Funeral Details: A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Clement RC Church, Etobicoke on January 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eunice Bestvater, beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Eunice was born July 19, 1929, in Buckley, Flintshire, North Wales, to Lucy Evelyn Oliver (nee Lamb) and Harold Oliver and passed away at 93 years on December 19, 2022, in Mississauga, Ontario. She lost the love of her life, Nikolaus, of 62 years on October 21, 2014. Deeply missed by her two children, Heidi (David), and Peter. Eunice was the beloved, and proud nana to Matthew, and enthusiastic supporter of his musical career. Eunice was the eldest of 5 children, and is survived by sister, Ann (Geoff, deceased), brother, Foster (Mavis) and sister-in-law Dorothy (Stuart, deceased); also predeceased by sister Evelyn (John deceased). She will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews in Britain, Germany, and Canada.

I was saddened to read of the death of your dear mother in the Star. The age of 93 is a wonderful life, but the loss is still very difficult. Now we have lost all our parents.
It was sincerely appreciated, Heidi, that you were able to bring your mum to Leslie’s birthday celebration. She was glad to see you both again. Dad and Nick were such good friends.
Please know that my thoughts are with you all, and may there be many happy memories.
