Poem-

God grant me the serenity

to accept the things I cannot change;

courage to change the things I can;

and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;

enjoying one moment at a time;

accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; taking, as He did, this sinful world

as it is, not as I would have it;

trusting that He will make all things right

if I surrender to His Will;

that I may be reasonably happy in this life

and supremely happy with Him

forever in the next.

Amen.

    Over 15 years ago I went to you in pain.  Slowly but surely you did for me what no other medical professional was able to do. You took the pain away and you made my life better.  Over the years you transitioned from RMT, to trusted advisor, to friend.  We joked, we talked, we discussed our kids growing up and I knew how proud you were of Mac and Lyndsay, as we discussed their journey thru life.  You were supportive, compassionate, knowledgeable, astute and a pleasure to be near.  Always the professional, you gained my trust and admiration.  So quickly you were called away that our heads spin, trying to understand…  You left your mark on so many of us.  You have made so many of us stronger and better.  You have given your children the strength, courage and wisdom to get thru this difficult time and to succeed at all life’s challenges.  You have touched so many with your hands and heart that you will be truly missed by many, but forgotten by none…  I am glad to have known you.  My condolences to Lyndsay, Mac, Cindy’s family, co-workers, clients and countless friends.  –  Al Boehk

    I have been a client of Cindy’s for the past 15 years. I have been so sad to hear of Cindy’s passing. I was being treated by Cindy every two weeks and know I cannot replace her as a therapist and friend. Cindy was so very kind and caring and always seeking ways to help me feel better. Although I only meet Lindsay and Mac many years ago very briefly when receiving treatment in their home, I feel as if I have known you both through the years. Your mother loved you dearly! My sincere condolences to you and Cindy’s mother, sister and family.

    “There’s an open gate at the end of the road

    Through which each must go alone,

    And there, in a light we cannot see,

    Our Father claims His own…

    Beyond the gate your loved one

    Find happiness and rest,

    And there is comfort in the thought

    That a loving God knows best.

    Love Evelyn…

    May you feel Gods’ arms holding you all close at this time and in the days and months that follow.

    I am so grateful to have known Cindy and to have counted her as a dear friend. I have been her patient for 8 years – she cared deeply about all of her patients but loved her family much more. She talked with such joy about Lyndsay, Mac, Bonnie and her mom. Her death is heartbreaking. My condolences to her family.

    i am very saddened to read about Cindy’s passing. I dated Cindy for 2 years and she was such an exceptional young lady. I drove to Barrie on Saturdays to spend time with her. I live in Aurora. Her 2 kids were just a delight. Lyndsay and Mackenzie were always so well behaved and just great kids. She was so proud of them. I dated Cindy from 2004-2006. The kids were so young but you could tell they would grow up to be productive citizens due to Cindy’s guidance. Cindy and i kept in touch over the years and would chat 3-4 times a year. I had not heard from her for over a year and just today typed in her name on my iPhone and was just shocked to read she passed. Rest in peace. You were such a delight. I’m blessed you came into my life. I hope Lyndsay and Mackenzie can find some solace and peace. Your mom will always live in your hearts.

    Jeff
