Carol Bell (Hunter), passed away peacefully on October 4th, 2021 at Hospice Simcoe after a short battle with cancer.
Carol is predeceased by her parents, Alan and Violet Hunter. Carol was the beloved wife of Dave Bell, devoted mother of Jennifer Pearce (Adrian) and Jeff Fawcett (Jen); and loving grandmother to Violet Fawcett. Carol is also survived by her brother Steve Hunter (Heather).
Carol lived her life to the fullest and continued to show her playful sarcasm right down to her last weeks. If she wasn’t out driving one of her beloved cars, she would be poking around her gardens. In the winter months, you would find her hanging out in their Florida home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Innisbrook Golf Course in Barrie on October 20th, 2021 between 6pm and 9pm. The family ask in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Hospice Simcoe in her name.

Posted on: Thursday, October 14, 2021Knowing Carol was a joy. Her sense of humour left us laughing uncontrollably. Her sense of camaraderie left us feeling special, part of a unique club. Her sense of caring and love of family leaves us heartbroken for Dave, Jen, Jeff and Violet. “Live each day” rings hollow in our ears.
We loved Carol and the friendship she brought to our lives. She will forever be remembered as a cherished and treasured lady who impacted us immeasurably.
Rest peacefully my friend, until we meet again.

Posted on: Thursday, October 14, 2021I have known Carol for 25 years! She was the coolest client ever! Picked me up at office in Barrie when she bought her newest corvette and then drive ended up being over an hour from Barrie to Wasaga beach – I will never forget that!!!
Love you Carol and Dave!

Posted on: Tuesday, October 19, 2021My cousin Carol and I were nearly the same age, and when we were children we would sometimes see each other in the summertime when my family came up to visit. Her famous sense of humor goes pretty much all the way back. It was always fun to see her and she will be missed. My sincere condolences to Dave, Jennifer, Jeffrey and family.
