WAKEFIELD, Barbara Joan (nee Bower)

Passed away peacefully on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie at the age of 88.  Beloved wife of the late Fred Wakefield.  Loving mother of Lynn Benham, David Wakefield and Roger Wakefield.  Cherished grandmother of 5 and great-grandmother of 3.

In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  As an expression of sympathy memorial donations can be made to a charity of choice.  Messages of condolence can be left at www.peacefultransition.ca

To those I have hurt I ask forgiveness.

To those who have loved me and filled my life with joy

I have walked with angels who held me when I stumbled.

Good neighbours when I needed a helping hand.
