    Dear Marshall and family,
Barb was always a calming and practical influence on me as a young and somewhat excitable lawyer – and she had the same impact on another more senior one who will have words to share on Thursday. We all benefited from her quick wit and generous smile as well as her willingness to assist and will miss her though our sorrow is dwarfed by your own loss – looking forward, she will also always be in our hearts and so we can remember in the present and celebrate by striving to bring even a little bit of her lasting influence forward to those with whom we share the present and future.
Here’s to her memory and with my promise to join you and all others she helped along the way in paying it forward

Marshall, I will always remember my times with Barb at CB&B. I loved working with her but much preferred our lunching! I will remember her wit and her smile. I will remember our card nights in your Scarborough home. She was an amazing woman. May she rest in paradise.
