You will be missed forever in my heart! A kinder, more generous person, I have not met in my life. You were there for everyone in there time of need. Gwen and I loved all the lunch and dinners you prepared and the downtown excursions to all the TV shows! To all the family, she told us lovingly of all the great times and love she had for you all and thanks for inviting Gwen and I to her birthday and you Jackie for joining us for lunch when you worked in Aurora.

I am going to miss your mom.
She was a true friend, more than that, we were like sisters.
We shared many happy times and sad times.
We were always there for each other.
It will be sad to pick up the phone and Anne won’t be at the other end.
Anne was the kindest person I have ever known. No matter how much or how little she had she’d always share.
She has left a big void in all of our lives. Thank you for all the good memories Anne.
You were a great wee wummin.
    Love you my sister
    Cathie,

    Dear Family & Friends,

I pray that you will find peace and comfort knowing that Ann is in a better place.
In the short time that I have known Ann, I have come to love her as she was so kind & compassionate. She reminded me of my Mom. I will never forget how every Christmas, Ann would walk to the kitchen, open the oven door and check on the turkey. She figured that Steve & Jill, being excellent hosts ‘may’ have forgotten to baste the turkey or take it out on time. Lol She had a heart of gold and eyes that just made you feel so loved and special.

We send our deepest condolences to the entire Crombie family at this time.

Your Mom was a very special lady who was adored by all of us as an extended member of our own family. We enjoyed all of our time with her and especially hearing about all of you. She was a very proud Mom/Grandma/Great Grandma.

Anne was also a wonderful friend to many and especially to my Mom who will miss her more than I can imagine. I didn’t ever see my Mom without hearing what Anne and the Crombie family were up to.

We’ll miss your Mom. We’ll miss her cooking, her stories and her Scottishness. I could sit and listen to her for hours.

We’re thinking of all of you.

    Love,

Karen, Ian, Emily and Claire xo
