It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald “Don” Jerry Wyvill on December 4, 2024, at the age of 78. Beloved son of the late Dennis and Helene Wyvill. Don will be forever missed by his cherished wife of 55 years, Sandra “Sandy.”
A devoted and loving father, Don leaves behind his children, Duane (Crystal) and Stephanie (Ryan), and his much-adored grandchildren: Denis, Zairek, Madisyn, Zachary, Silver-Lee, R.J., and Rocky. He will also be lovingly remembered by his brother Ron (Lynn), and sister Lynda.
Don was a quiet man with a generous heart who devoted his life to his family. His unwavering love for Sandy was evident throughout their marriage, and she always felt his deep care and devotion. Don was a proud father; he admired his son Duane’s steadfast support and cherished the special bond he shared with his daughter Stephanie, his “daddy’s little girl.”
A man of strong family values, Don’s presence will be profoundly missed by those who loved him. He has now been reunited with his beloved cats, Jasper and Tigar, who brought him and Sandy so much joy.
In accordance with Don’s wishes, a private cremation has taken place.

Posted on: Saturday, December 7, 2024My sincere condolences to the entire family. Don was instrumental in my early training at Bell Canada. I’ll never forget standing by the side of the road as a funeral procession went by and Don ensured the entire crew took off our hard hats until it passed. He was a friend of the Jenkins and Middleton families. Peace to you all during this difficult time.

Posted on: Saturday, December 7, 2024To Sandy and family. I remember Don as a vibrant, happy, joking guy. He was larger than life and he used to tease you all the time. We have had many party’s and get togethers. I remember the last party you had, for New Years Eve. He put together a game, it was fun, but you kept scolding him and he just kept a grin on his face, it was so funny.
Sandy, please reach out to your friends for support. Don’t think you can do this on your own. Love you Don, rest in piece.
