Funeral Details: Private Family Arrangements

Passed away peacefully on October 24th, 2024 in his 82nd year at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Center in Barrie Ontario. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (nee Marshall). Loving father to Christopher Douglas (Vanessa) and Leslie Marie (Jessie), as well as step-father to Ellen (Bill), Scott (Karen) and Lisa (Darrell). Proud grandfather to 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, he will be dearly missed by all.

Doug is survived by his sister Audrey (Laurier "Lory") and Ron (the late Joanne). He was a dedicated sheet metal worker for 44 years, with a deep sense of pride in his work.
Doug was a kind, compassionate gentle soul that will never be forgotten.

In keeping with Doug's wishes, a private cremation has taken place. If desired, donations in memory of Doug may be made to the (PSP) Progressive SupraNuclear Palsy Society of Canada or a charity of your choice.
