Jean Tobin (nee Shelle) peacefully passed away at Barrie Manor on October 1, 2024 at the age of 98. Predeceased by her husband John in 1997. She is survived by her son Jon (Margaret) and daughter Julie. Jean will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Special thanks to the staff at Barrie Manor for the amazing care, compassion and love shown to Jean. Jean will be remembered for her positive outlook, her sense of humour and her smile.
Jean lived a long and meaningful life. She touched the lives of many and will be missed. The Blue Jays’ have lost their number one fan!

Posted on: Friday, October 11, 2024My husband and i worked with wee Jeannie in walmart. She was one of the nicest if not the nicest person ever. We would sit and have a good wee yarn. She would talk about her kids I would give her a laugh about Ireland. Good night Jeannie safe home.
