William George Porter

Funeral Details: At the request of George there will be no funeral or visitation.
It is with great sadness we say goodbye to our father, William “George” Porter. Dad lost his battle after 4 years of several highs and lows in his 86th year.
Dad passed away peacefully on Friday August 30, 2024 surrounded by his loving family and while being cared for from the wonderful team at Hospice Simcoe. Dad survived a 53-year marriage to our mother Jean “Gail” and can now join her to continue their journey. George was a loving father of Shane, Sherrylee (Don) and Kim (Louis). Proud grandfather of eight grandchildren: Ryan, Adam, Lisa, Joe, Laura-Jean, Amber, Aryn and Dale; and great grandfather of many.
Memorial donations to Hospice Simcoe www.hospicesimcoe.ca would be greatly appreciated by the family.
