Joan M. Smith

Smith, Joan Marguerite – passed away at Victoria Village on Wednesday October 12, 2022, at the age of 87.  Joan was born in Orillia but raised her family in mostly the Barrie area.  Daughter of John and Irene Arthurs (predeceased), wife of Norman Dean Smith (predeceased). Loving mother of Debbie (Bob), Norman (predeceased), Genny Mudde (Henry predeceased), Tim Smith, Cathy Pipher (Brad), Don Smith (Melonie), Larry Smith (Gladys), Doug Smith (Linda).  Cherished by 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Jackie, Elmer, Lynda, Ted.  Joan will be lovingly missed by friends and family.  Celebration of Life will be held at the Moose Lodge, located at 6 Kitchener St, Orillia, on November 6^th from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Joan’s family would like to thank all the staff on the 5^th floor at Victoria Village for all their care.
