It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Costantino (Bill) Colucci in his 74th year. Born in Sora, Italy, he immigrated to Canada with his parents and siblings at a young age. Known to most as Billy, he emersed himself in his work in the Construction Industry. He loved his work almost as much as he loved being in the kitchen. On Sunday’s, you could find him with a tea towel slung over his shoulder, preparing his sauce and humming his favourite 50’s tunes.
Predeceased by his parents, Vincenzo and Maria (nee Morra). Beloved husband of Catherine (nee Cashaback) of 41 years. Survived by his children, Lisa (Robert), Rita (Teresa), Vince (Marlene), James (Nicole) and Jaclyn (Travis). Dear brother to Teresa, Italo, Frank, Susanna, and Carla. He will be missed dearly by his eight grandchildren.
Bill’s family would like to send sincere gratitude to Dr. Jacky Lai for his continuous support, compassion, and care. Thank you to the nurses and Physicians at RVH. Bill’s wishes are to be cremated. Thank you to Peaceful Transitions Cremation Service for your support during a difficult time. In memory of Bill, donations to the Spinal Cord Injury Ontario would be appreciated.

Posted on: Monday, December 6, 2021I had the pleasure and privilege of working with Billy for many years as he was the Co-Founder of the Barbara Turnbull Open Golf Tournament which raised millions of dollars for spinal cord injury research and rehabilitation for Spinal Cord Injury Ontario. Bill’s spirit and generosity were so authentic and contagious- it was always a joy working with him on these fundraising efforts. His heart was in the right place. I loved working with him. My condolences to the family. Thanks Billy! You will be missed!
