Maguire, Michael John: Passed away at his home in Newmarket with his wife at his side on Monday August 16, 2021 at the age of 72 years. Cherished husband and best friend of Diane (nee Jamieson) Maguire. Loving father of Meagan Olson (Marcus) of Calgary and Jeffrey Maguire (Robyn) of Toronto. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Noah, Finnley, Levi and Emmett. Mike will be fondly remembered by Diane’s children Jeffrey Bursey (Pia), Michael Bursey (Katie), Kevin Bursey (Andree) and grandchildren Taylor, Olivia, Jeffrey, Dylan and great grandchild Cohen. Wonderful dad to his fur baby Miss Molly. Predeceased by his parents Earl and Ethel Maguire. Mike was the ultimate car guy, especially his love and knowledge of Corvettes. He was most happy behind the wheel of his 1988 Corvette Pace Car, whether he was leading a parade, set up on display at a car show or just out for a drive. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date due to restrictions of Covid 19. Special thanks to all the caring team members at the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Stronach Regional Cancer Centre.

It is rare to find someone as dedicated to their hobby as Mike. He was a fixture at shows and cruises throughout the GTA with the Lucas Oil pace car and of course always a welcome addition at our Club events.
We will truly miss his friendship and camaraderie. RIP Mike
