Hazel Elizabeth Halkes, a loving & one-of-a-kind wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital on October 18th 2019. She spent her last days engulfed in a room full of love, and surrounded by the beautiful family she built. Hazel dedicated her life to taking care of others; her husband Donald, her 5 children: Lori-Ann (Brad), Stephen, Dawn (Steve), Tracey (Claudio), and David, and her 7 grandchildren: Lauren, Brittany, Katie, Madison, Carson, Brandon, and Anthony. She is a selfless, kind, and sincere lady, and has the largest and most beautiful heart. The support and love she received in her last days were a testament to the wonderful woman that Hazel is. No words can justify how much she will be missed, but the beautiful memories of Hazel will burn brightly in our hearts forever.
