Margaret May Woodbridge passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe on January 2, 2019.
Margie touched so many lives throughout her 82 years, and was a compassionate, caring and selfless friend to all. She was known for her great sense of humour which brought much laughter to all. She was such a proud, independent and strong woman.
Margie shared a great love affair with her treasured cats Winston and Lily and provided them with a truly spoiled and wonderful life.
Her many friends feel privileged to have known her, whether through her love for the game of golf at Vespra Hills or Big Bay Point, her athleticism on the tennis court, her contribution to her church or the welcoming, and sometimes raucous times spent in her home. Margie’s generosity of spirit and love of life will be greatly missed by all. We are all better people because of her.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Simcoe in Barrie, Ontario, who provided such kind and peaceful care for our dear Margie May.

Posted on: Friday, January 25, 2019I am very sorry to hear of the passing of one of my favourite teachers at Loretto Abbey. She was a shining light and I loved playing every sport when she was coaching. I know others from the Abbey will be very sad to hear this news. Wish I could have seen her in the last few years. Sorry for your loss.
