McDougall, Myrtle Sarah.
November 5, 1927 to October 19, 2018.
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Myrtle McDougall, after a courageous 18-month struggle with cancer. Myrtle passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe surrounded by her family and friends. Predeceased by her husband of 59 years, William McDougall. Left to cherish her memory are her three children: Lorene McDougall, Barrie; Janice (David) Crane, Snow Valley; Donald (Cleo) McDougall, Thunder Bay. Proud grandmother to Vanessa (Corey) Beamish, Barrie, and great grandmother to Mackenzie, Jadyn and Owen Beamish. Survived by two brothers, Richard and Donald of Winnipeg, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service in loving memory of Myrtle will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2 Sandringham Drive, Barrie. The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice Simcoe for their care of Mom during her stay. The family is also grateful to Dr. Piri Fejes and her kind staff for their care of Mom through the years, but especially during the last 18 months.

Chris and I are so sorry for the loss of Myrtle – from the many stories we heard she was one strong lady – clearly proving that in her battle of the last 18 months! Our deepest sympathies! Xo
