Posted on: Saturday, April 15, 2017A very sad occasion — I have very particular memories of Ken at Hamilton Road Methodist Church, Bangor, since we were small children together…when we were “initiated” to church music together, over our happy youth years, in the choir.
Having immigrated to Canada, like Ken with a young family, — mine was in 1967 to Vancouver, B.C. — We had a lot to share about our early memories in N. Ireland and our immigration experiences, oftentimes, on the telephone over the last few years.
Ken sent me his sister-in-law’s copy of The Bangor Spectator newspaper in recent years which I very much appreciated.
His life was a blessing to all who knew him. My sincere condolences to Evelyn and the family.

Posted on: Monday, April 17, 2017Ken will always be fondly remembered.
Along with Evelyn and their children, Ken made a huge impact on our lives while living on Shamir Crescent. Their kindness and nurturing ways has left my family with the fondest memories.
While Ken may be gone, he still will holds a spot in our hearts.
All our love, respect, best wishes and thanks to Evelyn and her family for a wonderful part of my life.
