Posted on: Thursday, July 14, 2016To the Shaw Family,
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Shaw. We fondly remember many wonderful years together as neighbours. To this day our grown children still refer to the house as Mr. Shaw’s house. We remember all his amazing stories of his life’s adventures. He will be missed. Our thoughts are with you at this time.

Posted on: Friday, July 15, 2016So sorry for your loss. Mr. Shaw was a fascinating gentleman. I had the pleasure of meeting him several years ago as I was going door to door canvassing for a municipal campaign. We spoke at length at the door and he invited me to come back for a longer visit to hear more. I visited several times that summer, he shared newspaper articles, recorded interviews and more. He was a wonderful story teller and I won’t forget the time we spent together.
