Funeral Details:

Arsenault, Joseph Edward, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at Hospice Barrie on December 14th. Loving son of the Late Cyril and Emilda, and is survived by sisters Lorraine and Phyllis in Ontario with his brothers Wally and Junior in PEI. Predeceased by brothers Milton and Leonard. He was a special uncle to Owen, Marilyn, Wendy, Cathy, Kelly, Dean, Tammy, Stacey, Michelle, Jolene, Leonard, Debbie, Kim and Gregory and his many great nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place and a Mass for celebration of his life will be held January 9, 2016  at St. John Vianney Parish, 13 Baldwin Lane, Barrie begining at 11:00 am. “Eddie lived for his people at the Queen Street Mental Hospital”. “He had the biggest heart with the ability to see that a cup of coffee meant so much more than just that”. “Eddie changed so many lives for the better, and always strived to see the authenticity in everyone”.

Donations to Hospice Barrie www.hospicesimcoe.ca would be appreciated.  A special thank you to his amazing nurse Christine, Dr. Shourideh and staff, Dr. Parbtani, all the nurses, PSW’s, and volunteers at Hospice, the staff at the Regional Cancer Centre. We would like to thank CCAC for their commitment to helping us keep Eddie at home as long as possible.

    Eddie was a very sweet, sweet man. He will be sadly missed by our family and furry members too. We had great conversations and he had such a sweet and kind personality and a good heart. Our thoughts and prayers go to his family. xoxo

    RIP my good buddy. As we discussed before, we had a good life. I you will always be in my prayers – we shall meet again in a better world. Take good care of us and make sure that we stay out of trouble.
